There’s No Blue in That Painting

Production Design Assistant

There's No Blue In That Painting deals with the paranoia of an up-and-coming art critic. Eleanor Quinn is selected to judge in a prestigious art portrait competition when she is horrified to be told by her ex-partner that he has entered a presumably contemptuous portrait of her, sending her on a witch-hunt to figure out which painting is his and stop it from winning.

There is a heavy focus on the emotional complexities of balancing personal vs professional endeavours as Eleanor attempts to please her colleagues while hiding her personal affiliations. It is a journey through perfectionism and obsession, and how, when it all comes crashing down, it can be hard to feel in control of the narrative.

Set to be released in 2024
